The doubling up method is called the Martingale System and it is AWFUL. You start betting a LOT of cash with that system to win just a little.

You cannot beat the house odds, and if you could the casinos would change the rules, like they did in blackjack.

As has already been mentioned, the Martingate system is not advisable. Yes, it CAN work for a while but eventually you’ll either be faced with a huge bet to pull level, or you’ll reach the table limit.
