Can’t remember how exactly they work, but I remember a documentary about them that said the ones near the bars and cafes inside casinos pay out the most. Apparently the sound of people winning on the machines draws people away from the bars and back to spending their money on the slots. So remember, next time you are in a casino, play on the ones nearest to the bar.

I’m assuming you mean video roulette. There is a Eprom chip inside that is programed with a random number generator. Just for the record the machines don’t need to cheat you they pay as if there is 36 numbers when there are 37. It makes roulette a 2.7% game in the houses favor.
