Are you saying that you bet on 24 numbers per spin as straight-up bets at 35/1 payout or just bet on the number 24?
The 2.7% house edge scares people off playing European roulette. But probabilites are not predicting the exact outcome of a game. Some games you will hit numbers early and win. Other games you might lose all your bankroll. The way I approach each game is to play a low amount and build it up slowly. I never start a play with more than $200 and don’t increase bet sizes with wins. If probabilities where true for each game, you would lose $3 of each $100 you play with. All you really need in playing roulette is knowing when to quit, don’t allow greed to make you play longer than you should.

The Casino will always have a greater chance of winning than the gambler on roulette.

If you bet all your money on the number 24, your chances of winning are 1/37. That means the odds against you are 36 to 1 against. If you win, they only pay you 35 to 1. That’s why the house always has the advantage (which amounts to 2.7% of your action).
If you bet 24,000 then you’ve got a 1/37 chance to win 840,000. This is only “worth” 23,351 ((840,000 + keep your 24,000) / 37). So, on average, each time you make this bet your expectation is to lose about 649 per spin of the wheel… that’s a 2.7% loss.

Why do you insist on asking stupid questions on roulette every day. Are you thick or just bored. Go out, enjoy yourself, get shagged. What do you get out of asking the same obvious question every day?
